Good effects can be obtained by forming cracks in parallel to the main reinforcement. Better effects can be obtained by cutting the restraining reinforcement. (hoop and stirrup). Cex Broke loaded in the space directly inside the reinforcement will easily separate the covering concrete and will expose the reinforcement.
